As The World Looks Up, We Step Up
We’ve got a plan, it’s called Project 3.5.
The idea is a simple one: To build a movement that’s too big for the government and the fossil fuel industry to ignore, and to do it one door at a time.
Project 3.5
Already all around the UK local people are getting organised. It’s time to stop feeling powerless and alone in the face of the climate crisis, and get to know other amazing local people who want to make a difference too.
How It Works
Three simple steps in quick succession will bring new people on a pathway of engagement – joining an exciting movement which they can see growing with each day, and where they have a clear part to play.
Training and support from the Project 3.5 team will help local groups at every stage.

STEP 1: THE HELLO
Having as many meaningful conversations as we can in our communities, with an emphasis on door-knocking, stalls, leafleting and conversations with friends and family. In a world where everyone is competing for attention, listening has become a radical act. So we listen, and we make simple ask: Come to a talk down the road!
STEP 2: THE CONVERSATION
A short, powerful talk in every town and village across the country, inviting people to feel rather than think the crisis – so we can push past denial and on to action. We share our plan for how we can win, and invite local people to consider how they want to contribute. It’s another simple ask: If you also believe a better world is possible, let’s get to work together. Leave us your phone number!
STEP 3: THE FOLLOW UP
A personal phone call to every person who attended the talk. Again, we will listen and invite them to take on a simple, meaningful task: Can you spare a few hours a week and join us for our next outreach cycle?
STEP 3.5: THE WELCOME TO XR SOCIAL
Next we welcome new people into our community by inviting them to a social where they can meet their local group and learn everything they will need to know about XR.
In 2022, let’s ignite the magic of People Power, because a small group of people can change the world. It’s the only thing that ever has.
