Piers was arrested during the 2019 April Rebellion in Oxford Circus by the pink boat, where his 22-year old son was later locked-on. He was charged under Section 14 of the Public Order Act and was preparing to plead not guilty at City of London Magistrates’ Court on 11th October 2019, when the charges against him were dropped.
