The following is a list of all public actions beginning on 1 September. This is not an exhaustive list! There will be other things popping up, we will aim to keep this as updated as possible.

2.30PM – MARCH IN SOLIDARITY FOR ANIMAL JUSTICE – TRAFALGAR SQUARE: Join Animal Rebellion for this last leg of their march from Smithfield Market to Parliament Square, inviting anyone who cares about justice for animals!
3PM – FEEL, THINK, ACT TOGETHER – PALACE OF WESTMINSTER: XR Psychologists will be talking about how acknowledging our complex feelings around the CEE is essential to taking the necessary action.
4PM – INTER-FAITH STANDING TOGETHER – PARLIAMENT: Stand with other rebels from all faiths and cultures, in solidarity, around parliament to highlight the failure of our Government to protect us.
Wednesday 2 September
10AM – CLIMATE CORPSES – PARLIAMENT SQUARE: Join the Doctors for XR in this theatrical action, displaying how the climate crisis is causing death, and displaying our grief for deaths from covid.
11AM – OH, HELLO PRIME MINISTER! – PARLIAMENT – JOIN REBELLION BROADCAST: Don’t miss the opportunity to “welcome” Boris as he arrives at Parliament for PM Question Time!
12PM – WE DEMAND ACTION! – PARLIAMENT – JOIN REBELLION BROADCAST: The government hasn’t dealt effectively with COVID. Do you trust them to protect you from the impacts of the environmental crisis? Come and demand action!
1PM – A CRY FOR HELP – BUCKINGHAM PALACE: Grandparents and Elders stage a silent visual protest and then speak out on behalf of all children.
3.30PM – TELL THE TRUTH / STORYTELLERS – MEET AT PARLIAMENT SQUARE: Speeches of truth-telling at a location which holds responsibility for so many lies!
5PM – NO MORE LIES / TELL THE CLIMATE TRUTH – LOCATION TBC: Come join us to DEMAND THE TRUTH from those the oil industry pays millions to cast doubt and promote denial about the climate and ecological emergency.
Thursday 3 September

12PM – CARNIVAL OF CORRUPTION – HM TREASURY: Roll up, roll up! Come and join our carnival highlighting the injustice of our financial system. Make sure to bring some homemade money!

10AM – CLIMATE JUSTICE IS MIGRANT JUSTICE – PARLIAMENT SQUARE: Throughout the course of human history, climate change has prompted mass movements of people. As a global society we have to get to grips with this reality with utmost urgency.
1PM – WALK OF SHAME – BANK OF ENGLAND – JOIN THE TELEGRAM CHAT: Climate justice and social justice are both compromised by the ongoing actions of corporations and institutions across the world. Join us in marking these places as we march through London!
Saturday 5 September
1PM – CITIZENS ASSEMBLE – TRAFALGAR SQ: Parliament is failing us. We have to show them how it’s done. On Saturday, 5 September, we’ll be bringing a sense of what a Citizens’ Assembly sounds and feels like to Trafalgar Square.
1PM – DISCOBEDIENCE! – BUCKINGHAM PALACE: Civil Disobedience, with disco! Come and join some rebellious dancing. Moves easy to learn.
3.30PM – PACHAMAMA IS BURNING! – TRAFALGAR SQUARE: Celebrating Indigenous Women’s Day and calling for justice for the Amazon.
TIME TBC – SHARKLEYS FOOTY MATCH – LOCATION TBC – JOIN TELEGRAM CHAT: How can we let Barclays, that knowingly destroys our planet, be such a prominent sponsor in our national sport?
Sunday 6 September
2PM – FLOOD ALERT! – LOCATION TBC: Join XR SE for a macabre beach party highlighting the increased flooding risk we all face – from sea rise, river flooding, excessive rainfall & flash flooding.
3PM – MARINE EXTINCTION MARCH – PARLIAMENT SQUARE: We will rise like the tide to demand protection for our oceans and the global impact of rising sea levels. A beautiful, creative, socially distanced grief march with Ocean Rebellion, Animal Rebellion and Sea Life Extinction. Family friendly protest! Join the Telegram chat.
Tuesday 8 September
12PM – SHELL OUT! – JUBILEE GARDENS: Step up the pressure on Shell to demand an end to fossil fuel extraction, ecocide and #ReparationsNow. Speakers from Global Justice Rebellion and XRISN, Art Blockers and performance – followed by a march to Parliament.
Wednesday 9 September
TIME TBC – REDRESS: Repair! Rewear! Rebel! – LOCATION TBC: Do you see injustice in the fashion industry? Let alone huge carbon footprint, high street and designer fashion brands are notoriously associated with exploitation of people and animals both abroad and in the UK.
Thursday 10 September
11AM – SUCKING THE WORLD DRY/INJUSTICE ACTION – SIGN UP FOR ROLES: We cannot solve the climate and ecological emergency without stopping corporations like Coca-Cola from systematically abusing human rights, destroying the environment and stealing resources from the Global South.

XR SCIENTISTS: Dr Scott Archer-Nicholls, Centre for Atmospheric Science, Department of Chemistry. PhD in atmospheric science at university of manchester, now doing a postdoc at University of Cambridge. Cofounder of xr scientists.
Dr Charlie Gardner, conservation scientist at university of Kent
Jon Fuller. BBC Tell The Truth. Jon studies the way the media portrays the CEE, specialising in the output of the BBC.
Chris Haughton, designer and children’s book author and freelance illustrator for 12 years. listed in Time Magazine’s DESIGN 100 for People Tree. Author of A BIT LOST has been translated into 20 languages and has won awards in 7 countries including the Dutch Picture Book of the Year. OH NO GEORGE! came out in 2012 and won the Junior Magazine Picturebook of the year award. His third book SHH! We have a plan came out in March 2014 and won the AOI award for children’s books for 2014.
