Leon (not his real name) was arrested on 17th April 2019 in Oxford Circus during the April Rebellion under Section 14 of the Public Order Act. He pleaded guilty on 16th August 2019 at City of London Magistrates’ Court and was given a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £105 court costs.

“I care a great deal about the natural world, and the people inhabiting it. The climate and ecological emergency threatens all of that, and so I protest in this way to try to make those in power listen.”
