XR Sutton Non-Violent Direct Action Training

Extinction Rebellion is a peaceful international movement addressing the climate crisis through non violent direct action (NVDA) to achieve radical change in order in minimise the risk of human extinction and ecological collapse.

In this NVDA training you will find out how to take part in Extinction Rebellion actions. The training will cover the practice of non-violent techniques: showing you how to de-escalate tense situations, how to interact with the police, what to do if you get arrested and much more.

The training takes a few hours so bring food / feel free to bring vegan snacks to share.
