BAME writers lead fight against Big Oil in live literature action outside Tate Modern

• Lemn Sissay OBE, Costa Prize winner Monique Roffey, Nigerian poet Inua Ellams and other global majority writers lead event on Easter Friday to challenge fossil fuel destruction
• Allies including award-winning Ali Smith CBE and Nikesh Shukla.
• Authors call out Big Oil’s profiteering from climate destruction and its disproportionate impacts on Africa, the world’s poorer countries and people of colour
• Event brings together legendary spoken-word night Tongue Fu, Hot Poets and Writers Rebel as a headline event of the Extinction Rebellion week of rebellion April 9-17
