Abbey Fields, Kenilworth, United Kingdom

hosted by

Save Cubbington Woods - Stop HS2

In April the despicable HS2 plan to fell 3 areas of precious local Ancient Woodland: Broadwells and Birches Wood and part of Crackley Woods.
Join us to walk amongst our Ancient Trees and show the Government how strongly you feel about this terrible assault on our ecological heritage.

From 12.30 We will gather at Abbey Fields Park in Bridge St, Kenilworth, CV8 1BN.
The Samba-ites will do a quick march up through the park to the clock tower to help wake us up!
Speeches from 1pm.
Shortly after we will walk up the road to Crackley Woods led by the Samba band. Along the Greenway to Broadwells Wood then to Crackley Woods Camp. All of which are threatened by HS2. If you do the whole walk you will finish by 5pm approx.
We will have guest speakers including Gail Bradbrook, Megan McCubbin, and Luci Ryan plus our local Stop HS2 campaigners Joe Rukin, and that Matt Bishop.

The walk will take about 3 to 4 hours. If you want a shorter walk park at or near Crackley Woods and join the rally there.

Please be aware the tracks and fields can be muddy and uneven.

Corona Update.. Based on current Government Information no one is at increased risk in open space gatherings.
HAND GEL – Please note: We have been unable to get hand gel ( ordered but not arrived) so please bring your own.
