Revolting Vegans Supper Club: Revolting Waste
We are living in crisis: Our planet is dehydrated, exhausted and suffocating.
Over 1/3 of all food production globally goes to waste and less than a quarter of that wasted food could feed the world’s hungry – all one billion of them.
It’s time we take a stand, hand in hand, with each other, with all life, with the planet. For without them, we are not at all…
ABOUT
Joined by special guests for an evening of Revolting Waste, we bring important conversations about our relationship to food, the global food crisis and the social, political and environmental context of food and its provenance to the table.
Through an immersive 6 course plant based menu, Revolting Vegans will traverse a conversation of wastefulness through each course; evaluating our human imprint from a global, local and personal perspective.
Investigating notions of impact and antidote through playful explorations, we strive for a more delicious future.

ABOUT REVOLTING VEGANS
Revolting Vegans is an immersive plant-based supper club, aiming to bring important conversations about our relationship to food, the global food crisis and the social, political and environmental context of food and its provenance to the table.
A disruptive plant based movement, we explore notions of ‘revolting’ in playful combinations of ‘taboo’, ‘rebellion’ and ‘revolution’, we strive for a more delicious future.
Launching in 2018 with ‘Desires of Flesh’; a sensorial exploration into the visceral and carnal experience of meat eating, Revolting Vegans was founded during Cathrine Disney’s (Creative Producer) postgraduate degree in MA Material Futures at Central Saint Martins. Her research into the morality of meat eating lead her into an ongoing personal battle between guilt and pleasure as she investigated the question: As a vegan, how can I morally indulge in my insatiable desire for meat?
Head Chef: Anjli Vyas
Anjli Vyas is an active Plant Based Chef & Food Consultant based in London. She creates innovative menus & products that focus on sustainable practises and promotes zero waste! She was the former head chef Essence cuisine and also the creator of ‘Eat With Your Hands’ an immersive dining restaurant as a part of Shuffle Festival in 2017. Anjli also runs her food and thought platform Bare Kitchen.
Creative Producer: Cathrine Disney
Cathrine Disney is an interdisciplinary artist, design researcher, creative producer and writer exploring the blurring boundaries and entangled relationship between materials, emerging technologies and the human species. In the age of the biotechnological (r)evolution, dawn of the Anthropocentric epoch and current state of global politics; she investigates what it means to be human in these uncertain times. By creating emotive narratives of present, near and far futures through artefacts and immersive experiences, Cathrine intends to raise important questions about the ways in which we live in our contemporary consumer society.
