Our march is a movement of movements; groups involved include Ocean Rebellion, Sea Life Extinction, Animal Rebellion and Extinction Rebellion. We are moving together to help shift to a more beautiful, balanced, rejuvenating world.
We will have beautiful flags and banners created by XR Art Blockers (and others), and incredible 3D sea life sculptures by XR Skeletons and local groups. SHOAL and other costumed performers will join us in the procession along with music from XR Sounds and Music.
We are celebrating the glorious biodiversity found in our seas. We are grieving the destruction of our oceans and marine life due to climate breakdown and human interference, and the loss of lives, homes and livelihoods from rising sea levels.
We would love to see your ocean based costumes, or come along dressed in shades of BLUE. Sea life props welcome of endangered or extinct creatures, or bring along signs or placards.
