On 20th September adults will join youth strikers across the world for the Global Climate Strike. We’ll be joining in by swarming roads in Catford, Crofton Park & New Cross where we’ll be leafleting to spread the word about the climate crisis & upcoming International Rebellion.
Swarming involves stopping the traffic at pedestrian crossings for periods of up to 7 minutes, repeated over the chosen time period – it is a low risk activity and so far, there have been no arrests for this type of civil disobedience. There are a number of supporting roles so you can get involved however you chose to. These include de-escalation & leafletting so if you are interested or trained in any of these, give us a message.
