KILL THE POLICE BILL: a Really Annoying Demo

Brought to you by comedy genius Mark Thomas, and people powered by all the people who give a shit about being annoying

➡️ Monday 17 January 5pm-7pm

➡️ College Green Opposite House of “Lords”

The bill that seeks to ban demonstrations for being “annoying” is nearing the end of its passage through Parliament. Death penalty advocate, cop cosplayer and Home Secretary Priti Patel, is pushing through the Police Crime Sentencing and Courts Bill through Parliament with little scrutiny and gives the government the legal opportunity to cancel protesters.

Under the proposed law a demonstration can be banned for being noisy, annoying or at the whim of Priti Patel before it has even started.

If they seek to ban us being annoying they give us little choice but to be annoying as possible in the time we have before the bill passes into law.

We don’t want to see the bill amended, we want to see it scrapped!

We shall review our options and reach for our lawyers once is gets voted through by the arrogant, corrupt and sycophantic MPs that pose as our representatives.

All opposition MPs must be obliged to use every vote and chance they get to pull it down, any Tory MP who thinks they like the idea of human rights must do likewise.

Patel thinks protests are really annoying, so here’s a chance to prove her right for once. Come to the pro-test and bring something really annoying with you. It might be a Jeremy Clarkson mask, a plastic takeaway container with an ill-fitting lid, a ’musical’ children’s toy or your younger brother.

We’ll have speakers and fun, annoyance and the will to change things for the better.
