Extinction Rebellion Week of Action Aotearoa

Here’s a few things you need to know:

*We will be setting up a safe and friendly Rebel Camp from which we will head out to Direct Actions around the capital.
*Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th are important days for you to attend as we will be offering Non Violent Direct Action training and other excellent training for the different roles needed for action.
*The big action day is Monday 7th.
*These five days coincide with the global rebellion taking place on these October dates.
*It’s the school hols so all our teacher rebels and kids and teens can come down.
*We want you to come even if you don’t want to get arrested.
*This is a rebellion, so there will be arrests. Do spend some time reflecting on if you would like to be arrested. However, we will have clearly designated areas for people who want to hit the streets, but not be arrested. There are also lots of caring roles that need to be fulfilled. We need you all down here for this.
*Extinction Rebellion is always non-violent.
