EARTH BALL 2022

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. PLEASE READ.

It is with a very heavy heart that we are forced to cancel the Earth Ball 2022 event on the 27th of March.

After months of hard work and excitement, forces outside of our control have meant that the wonderful venue that would have been our host have found themselves under pressure and at risk of losing their licence if they were to host the Earth Ball.
Unfortunately, this has meant that they had to pull out. We at Extinction Rebellion stand in solidarity with Electrowerkz.

The organisers of Earth Ball have since been working round the clock, discussing options, exploring different avenues, and weighing up the situation that we have found ourselves in. But unfortunately, there was no way around the fact that the entire event was curated around a venue that has now cancelled on us.

We are incredibly sorry to have to come to this conclusion. To the ticket holders, to the artists, to the bands and the DJs, and to those who had been working hard to pull off the event. What we had created was something beautiful, a night of art, music, and joy spread across the whole of the venue. It is heartbreaking to not be able to show this to you.

However, this is not the last that you will hear of the Earth Ball. Where options would not have come together in time for the original date, they will come together for another time. We are very excited to get to work on the next plan and to be able to, finally, dance with you all.

Tickets are now off sale for this event, and we shall be contacting the current ticket holders via email to discuss refunds and other options available.

Nothing can stop the Earth Ball rolling.
