Postponed
I’m writing to inform you that EARTH BALL 2021 has had to be postponed with a new date in early 2022 set to be announced very soon.
Given all the uncertainty surrounding the new Covid variant, coupled with changes to the guidance and the events’ proximity to Christmas, we understand that it is the correct and right thing to do at this time.
Fortunately, by postponing it opens up the opportunity for Earth Ball to become part of the pre-April Rebellion build up, and a chance for us to come together as a movement.
The quality and diversity of the line up we put together for next Sunday really was something we couldn’t have imagined when we first started this journey.
We wanted to thank all of the performers for offering their brilliance and creativity to Extinction Rebellion. We were blown away by the interest to play at our event and wanted to pass on our gratitude.
To all of our guests, for those of you who have already bought your tickets we can confirm that these will be valid for the new date. .
For those of you who still need to buy your tickets, we will be continuing to use the same Eventbrite page for Earth Ball and will let you know very soon when tickets are again available to buy.
If anyone would like a refund then you can simply request one, following the link on the Eventbrite page.
Whilst Earth Ball 19/12/2021 was going to be absolutely epic, we feel there’s now a tremendous opportunity for the event to really help drive energy and momentum as we head towards the April Rebellion.
We thank you all for your understanding and simply can’t wait to welcome you to XR Earth Ball 2022, early next year, at the Electrowerkz.

A celebration of 3 years of Extinction Rebellion. We are a family of many families and together we rang the alarm and we shook the streets with our love and courage – the World over, in 84 countries with 1,202 groups.
At the heart of this event is all our Love and solidarity for the sisters and brothers who sacrifice their liberty for our collective future and for Climate Justice globally.
