Explore what non-violence is to you and learn techniques for creating and maintaining a non violent atmosphere during large actions and occupations. Find out ways to deescalate small group or one to one situations including principles of Non Violent Communication. Non violence is vital for our movement and a key element of our theory of social change strategy. It models the world we want to live in. It’s a personal and collective practice which requires commitment.

About the venue:
NEW RIVER STUDIOS (N4 1DN) – near end of Eade Road, off Seven Sisters Road halfway between Manor House and Seven Sisters tube stations (buses: 253 254 259 or 279).
The venue has disabled access, a bar, great pizza and Bagel the cat. Children are welcome as long as supervised.
Please consider a small donation to cover room hire and to build up a float to cover our other occasional expenses (stationery, printing etc.) whenever room hire is free – as it is at present at NRS but we should not expect this as standard.
